myCroquet is Queensland croquet's member platform, built on a simple premise: the platform itself is small, and everything else is a module. The permanent core does almost nothing — sign in, see and edit your own details. Every other feature is a self-contained module, switched on per person, visible only to the people it serves.
Each person's myCroquet is exactly as large as their responsibilities, and no larger. A member sees a quiet little site. A club secretary sees membership tools. A committee member sees the decision register. Nobody scrolls past functions they never asked for.
What it does
New features are installed invisible, shown first to a handful of people, then widened — so the platform gains capability indefinitely without ever growing harder to use. The full thinking is in the essay: myCroquet: A Modular Platform.
